106th Bomb Wing - New Jersey Air National Guard
      Activated on 1 Mar 1951 as the 106th Bombardment Group (Light), this unit was transferred to SAC two months later. The 106th Bomb Wing was composed of the 135th Bomb Squadron (USAF), 102nd Bomb Squadron (Light) and the 114th Bomb Squadron (Light) both from the New York ANG. The 102nd Bomb Squadron (Light) operated from Floyd Bennett Field (NAS Brooklyn) and was redesignated as the 114th Bomb Squadron (Light) while the 114th Bomb Squadron (Light), also operating from NAS Brooklyn was redesignated as the 114th Bomb Squadron (Medium). When inactivated the Air National Guard personnel were released to their parent unit. The 106th flew B-26s and B-29s. The equipment remained at March AFB and was gained by the newly formed 320th Bomb Wing, which was activated on 1 Dec 1952.
ditto 108th Fighter Bomber Wing - New Jersey Air National Guard
Redesignated 19 Oct 1991.  The 108th Fighter Bomber Wing was composed of the 153rd Fighter Squadron from the Mississippi ANG, the 141st Fighter Squadron from the New Jersey ANG and the 149th Fighter squadron from the Virginia ANG.  It was assigned to the Air Mobility Command on 1 Jun 1992.   It flew KC-135s
ditto 111th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing - Pennsylvania Air National Guard
Ordered to active duty 1 Apr 1951 at Fairchild AFB, WA..  It was assigned to 15th Air Force and flew RB-29s. The 111th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing (ANG) was composed of the 129th Bomb Squadron (formerly the 3rd Bomb Squadron), the 130th Bomb Squadron (formerly the 74th Bomb Squadron) both from the USAF were joined by the 103rd Bomb Squadron (Light) from the Pennsylvania ANG which was redesignated as the 103rd Strategic Reconnaissance (Medium). When inactivated the ANG personnel were released to their parent units. The equipment and active duty personnel remained at Fairchild and were gained by the newly formed 99th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing.
ditto 126th Air Refueling Wing - Illinois Air National Guard
Assigned from Tactical Air Command 1 Jul 1976 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The 126th flew KC-97s and KC-135s.  It was composed of the 108th Air Refueling Squadron and the 145th Air Refueling Squadron from the Illinois ANG along with the 126th Air Refueling Squadron from the Wisconsin ANG.  Assigned to Air Mobility Command on 1 Jun 1992
131st Fighter / Bomber Wing - Missouri Air National Guard
Ordered to active duty 1 Mar 1951, at Bergstrom AFB, TX.  Assigned to the Eighth Air Force.  Flew P-51 Mustangs.  Composed of the 170th Fighter Squadron from the Illinois ANG, the 110th Fighter Squadron from the Missouri ANG and the 192nd Fighter Squadron from the Nevada ANG.    Assigned to the Tactical Air Command on 15 Nov 1951 
132nd Fighter / Bomber Wing  - Iowa Air National Guard)
Ordered to active duty 1 Apr 1951, at Dow AFB, ME.  Assigned to the Eighth Air Force.  Flew P-51 Mustangs.  Composed of the 124th Fighter Squadron from the Iowa ANG, the 173rd Fighter Squadron from the Nebraska
ANG and the 174th Fighter Bomber Squadron from the Iowa ANG.  Assigned to the Tactical Air Command on
1 June 1952 
141st Air Refueling Wing - Washington Air National Guard
Ordered to active duty 20 Dec 1990, at Geiger Field, WA  Moved to Fairchild AFB, WA  Flew KC-135s.  Assigned to Air Mobility Command on 1 Jun 1992  
146th Fighter / Bomber Wing - Pennsylvania Air National Guard
Activated 1 Apr 1951 at Moody AFB, GA.  Assigned to Second Air Force.  Flew P-51 Mustangs.  Composed of the 190th Fighter Squadron from the Idaho ANG, the 186th Fighter Squadron from the Montana ANG and the 178th Fighter Squadron from the North Dakota ANG.  Transferred to the Tactical Air Command on 16 Nov 1951.
171st Air Refueling Wing - Pennsylvania Air National Guard
Ordered to active duty on 12 Dec 1990 at Greater Pittsburgh Airport, PA.  Flew KC-135s  Released from active duty 15 May 1991
